Lorenzo O. Thompson, CPA, President
 
Mr. Thompson founded LOT in 2001 having identified the need for an accounting and auditing service provider, with a focus on providing value-added services for small, medium-size and emerging businesses in Orlando, FL and the surrounding counties/cities. He founded the company with a strong commitment to integrity and dedication to excellence in all he and the company does. Additionally, he continually promotes the dignity and worth of all individuals, including employees and clients. In 2006 Mr. Thompson expanded the company's offering of services, creating two new service areas, to include Information Technologies and Engineering & Logistics Support Services.
 
Mr. Thompson graduated from the University of Central Florida where he earned his B.S. degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida, with over sixteen years of experience. He is proficient in compiling financial statements, financial analysis, financial projections, financial and operational audits, accounting reviews, budgeting, design, development and implementation of financial information systems, administrative management and process management. Clifton E. Jeffers, Sr. Vice President/Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
 
Mr. Jeffers ties to LOT go back further than most, as he has been a personal friend and colleague of Mr. Thompson for more than twenty years. Some call it the "University of Central Florida (UCF) connection;" they simply call it a bond of friendship and trust that started years ago. Mr. Jeffers graduated from UCF where he earned his B.S. degree in Information Systems Engineering. He is a software engineer with over twenty years of experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle – analysis, architecture design, development, integration, testing, transition, quality assurance, implementation, maintenance, prototyping, independent verification and validation (IV&V). He is proficient in process engineering, process management, software architecture design, development, implementation and maintenance of client/server in a real-time web distributed environment utilizing relational database systems. Kimberly M. Ellis, Ph.D., CPA, Consultant
 
Professor Ellis' ties to LOT go back over twelve years when she met Mr. Thompson at a National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) meeting. Since that time, they have developed a friendship built on mutual respect and trust. They both share a passion for helping small and medium size businesses improve their internal operations and a deep-seated commitment to integrity.
 
Professor Kimberly M. Ellis received her Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Florida State University. Prior to earning her doctoral degree, she worked for the General Electric (GE) Company having completed the Financial Management Program (FMP). During her four year tenure at GE, Professor Ellis held various positions in financial planning and analysis as well as corporate reporting. She received a B. S. degree in Accounting (with highest honors) from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in her home state of Virginia.  More...

Mr. Bembry attended undergraduate college, majoring in Aerospace Engineering at Tuskegee University. He is a software developer with over fifteen years of experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle – analysis, architecture design, development, integration, testing, transition, quality assurance, implementation and maintenance. Mr. Bembry is proficient in mechanical computer-aided design (CAD), process engineering, process management, software architecture design, development, implementation and maintenance of client/server in a real-time web distributed environment utilizing relational database systems.
