| Platform Selection |
| |
|
How do you efficiently decide on your integration backbone architecture? And how do you then choose the product that
best fits your company's needs? As we have done this process with other customers before, we can help you to get it done
efficiently and with a guaranteed result.

| |
|
We have developed a decision matrix for each decision with accompanying presentations that help our customers to understand
the basic concepts of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools very quickly. We have a method of how customers generate
their own specific integration framework from these components in order to unleash all the benefits of EAI tools.
|
| |
|
Of course we are watching the market and know many solutions from personal experience or from reference visits. In the integration
area we have our best established selection process.

Solution positioning and selection is a very time consuming effort for Information Technology (IT) managers. Often the project
or IT manager in charge cannot free himself/herself to do in-depth analysis at this project stage and the business owner has to
do most of the research without IT support. Decisions taken on that basis often are shaky and difficult to communicate.
|
| |
|
We help by stepping in at this phase for the internal IT responsible. Using our templates and existing comparisons help to
concentrate on the most likely solution for the customer instead of scanning the whole market. As a result the decision making
process is a lot faster and with a reliable, well established result.
|
|
Key Benefits:
- Vendor independent concept and product consulting
- Reuse of best practices and checklists
- Speed to decision, quality of decision
- Clear integration concepts with related middleware tools (EAI, portals, application servers)
- Turnkey OR consulting/project management projects

There are many products and business applications available with similar or overlapping functionality. Even for experienced
Information Systems (IS) managers it is very difficult to position and differentiate the approaches. Our area specialists
keep track and have presentations ready to highlight the differences and when to use what. For areas we do not have a
specialist ourselves, we will point our customers to the right industry specialists - or subcontract them in for a specific
project. As always, you will profit from other customer's experiences and come to well-founded decisions faster with our help.
|
| |
|
Once the positioning and the requirements are clear, you will have to choose a vendor/product. Again, we have a set of
template approaches, checklists, etc. and this will give your project a head start and save precious time. We are vendor
independent and do not touch any incentives from software/hardware vendors. Of course our research and experience already
gives us current favorites for certain requirement sets - but that is part of our added value.
|
| |
|
We can lead you through the software rollout process. As always the customer will do that job only once or very few times,
whereas our project managers are doing this as their main job. We will work together with the consultants of the software
provider and defend your best interest.
