From our perspective, that is the highest compliment we can receive.   Hodac, Inc. is at the forefront of addressing needs such as family violence, parenting and family support, teen pregnancy prevention, substance abuse prevention and recovery. The number of participants that Hodac serves is increasing sharply.  The ability of the Hodac staff of Warner Robins, GA. to manage their non-profit services would be greatly enhanced by a computerized system that stores, tracks, evaluate participant trends, perform reliability and maintainability analysis, and generates status (Monthly, Quarterly, Fiscal Year) reports.   The resulting Hodac Tracking System was designed, developed and maintained by LOT Software Engineering Consultants to track clients that are enrolled in the Educational Services and Gateway Cottage programs offered by Hodac, Inc., of Warner Robins, GA. The application was designed to utilize client/server technology in a real-time web distributed environment involving relational database system. It was implemented over Hodac's Local Area Network (LAN).   Hodac Tracking System major functions are: Input Participant Information Input Service Information Assign Participant To Services Home Visit Input Input Participant Assignment Track Drug Screening Track Home Visits Track Assigned Tasks Generate Status (Monthly, Quarterly, & Fiscal Year) Reports Hodac Education Services is a prevention unit designed to educate young men and women on the dangers of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, teenage pregnancy, and violence. This unit seeks to facilitate positive behavior and disperse information to young adults so they can make positive and educated decisions. Additional services include parenting workshops beneficial for parents and children aged one to seventeen, a teen headquarters for at-risk teens, and several on-site school services for Houston, Peach, and Crawford counties.   Gateway Cottage is a transition home for homeless mothers in substance abuse recovery and their children. Hodac’s Gateway Cottage can house a maximum of eight mothers and their children. All mothers must have a history of substance abuse but be drug free upon entering Gateway Cottage. Clients come from the streets, incarceration, treatment, and/or for the protection of their children. Mothers must stay a minimum of six months and a maximum of 24 months in this program.
